- Make it a habit to walk briskly or jog in the morning for at least 40 minutes. Never miss a chance to walk on green grass. It is invigorating.
- Take 2-3 glasses of water in sitting position upon rising from bed in the morning and thereafter one glass every two hours. Ensure that the water you drink is pure.
- Expose the body to morning sunlight for vitamin D offered free by nature.
- Do not drink water 30 minutes before and within one hour of taking a meal. No water should be taken during meal.
- Pass urine before every meal.
- Stroll for half an hour before or after dinner.
- A daily bath in fresh water keeps body free from dirt, odour and infection of the skin.
- Do not eat until you are hungry.
- Lunch should be over between 11 A.M.-1.00 P.M. and dinner between 7 to 8.00 P.M. There must be six hours gap between lunch and dinner.
- Do not eat in a hurry. Chew and masticate food properly.
- Wash hands with soap and water before every meal and after using the latrine.
- Maintain erect position while sitting or doing a desk job.
- Use unsaturated fats such as sunflower oil as cooking medium.
- Use steam cooked food, 50 per cent of meal should be salads.
- Eat one or two fruits after every meal.
- Avoid late dinner, heavy meals and late sleeping.
- Fast once every week with juice and water.
- Try to live on uncooked food at least once in a fortnight.
- Take enema when constipated and do Jalneti regularly.
- Avoid smoking, alcohol, fried foods, white refined flour (maida) products, sugar, polished rice, flesh foods, junk foods, tea, coffee and cold drinks.
- Do not take cooked and raw things together.
- Live in a house that allows in adequate air and light.
- Do exercise, yoga, meditation regularly. Stay mobile and active, avoid sedentary lifestyle.
- Do not sacrifice the need for rest, relaxation and sleep at any cost. Leisure is pleasure. Take holidays. Spend time with nature.
- Depend on your bodys natural healing power, vitalize it with a disciplined life and balanced diet.
- Think positive. Act positive. Be positive.
